Registration for the 2026 Season is Live!

Registration for the 2026 season is live. All players and social members must register with the USGAA!

Player registration with the USGAA for 2026 is $74.95 after fees and will be paid through the registration portal.

Club dues for returning players, which help to support the club and fund various needs, for 2026 are $40 and are payable via Venmo: @AlbanyRebels

How to register if you're a new player:

1. Follow this link to the Albany Rebels GAA SportsEngine Page

2. Create an account with Sports Engine

   1. Make sure to check your email to click the link to verify your email. You will finish your registration through the window that opens up!

3. Select "2026 Men's - USGAA Annual Membership - Player"

4. Complete your profile

   1. Enter the country you reside in, and your CURRENT address

5. Complete payment and continue from Step 4 below

How to register if you're a returning player:

1. Follow this link to the Albany Rebels GAA SportsEngine Page

2. Select "2026 Men's - USGAA Annual Membership - Player"

3. Complete payment

4. Select "Continue to MYSPORTSENGINE"

5. Select the "2026 Men's - USGAA Annual Membership - Player" on this screen

   1. Note: if it has not appeared yet, try refreshing the page

6. In the drop-down menu, select "Complete Requirement"

7. Completing the form:

   1. First Player Classification:

      1. Select either “Homegrown” (if you’ve only been eligible to play GAA within the USGAA) or “Non Homegrown” (if you’ve ever been eligible to play GAA in Ireland or the UK – minor grade or adult grade). 

   2. Second Player Classification:

      1. Select "Resident"

   3. Registration Type

      1. Select "Returning Player"

   4. Country of Birth

      1. Be truthful

   5. Identifying Document

      1. Either a driver's license or a Passport

      2. List the country of issue

      3. Enter the last 4 digits of the ID Number (ensure this is correct)

   6. Primary and Secondary Code Played

      1. Enter Men's Football or Hurling in Primary Code

      2. Enter whichever code you did not enter in the Secondary code if you're interested in playing both

8. Submit the form and ensure that you're listed as "Eligible", if not, please get in touch with the Rebels Registrar, Paddy Loughlin.
