Rebels Lose in Quarterfinals of Midwest Finals
The Albany Rebels appeared in the Midwest GAA Finals for the first time on Saturday, beating host Rochester in a preliminary match before losing to the eventual champion Pittsburgh in the quarterfinals. The Rebels cruised to a victory against Rochester, winning 6-15 (33) to 0-0 (0). Goal scorers included Ryan Moloney, Pat Curran, Tim Gerrish, John Lake and Marc Massena. The satisfaction of that win, however, quickly vanished for the Rebels as they faced the Pittsburgh Celtics
