Rebels Announce 2021 Football Roster
The Albany Rebels announced their 2021 football roster earlier today. The squad includes 28 players, including 25 returning from its last full season nearly two years ago.
“With everything that’s happened in the last year, it’s a great feeling to have everyone back and to think about competing again,” said Rebels coach Ryan Moloney. “There were also some new players who joined and never got to see any game time in 2020, but stuck with us and are ready for their first action as Albany Rebels. 2021 is shaping up to be another strong year for us.”
The Rebels open their season on Saturday, May 15 at 12:30 p.m. when they visit the Dutchess County Griffins at Tymor Park in Lagrangeville, NY.
The Rebels will continue to recruit new players throughout the season.
