Match Preview: Rebels at Dutchess County (5/15)
The Albany Rebels open their season on Saturday when they play the Dutchess County Griffins at 12:30 p.m. at Tymor Park in Lagrangeville, N.Y. It is the first match for the Rebels in 22 months due to the canceled season in 2020.
While the lineup features some familiar names, including veterans Ryan Moloney, Tim Gerrish, Mark Adam, Brian Kanalley and Joe Bradley, it also includes five rookies who are ready to make their mark.
“The wait is finally over,” said Moloney. “Veterans and rookies alike are all eagerly anticipating this weekend’s game. We are also very excited to have a new club nearby and we hope this marks the beginning of a great relationship between the Rebels and Dutchess County.”
