With about ten minutes left in the Junior D Football National Championship, Raleigh Cu Chulainn led James Joyce GFC of Chicago by a score of 19 to 12. A couple of minutes earlier James Joyce had only been down by 2. After a tight hard fought game, the wheels appeared to have completely come off as the young lads from Chicago lost their composure conceding needless frees from stupid fouls and pointless dissent. Albany Rebels GAA is excited to announce that we are hosting a Fall Rec League. The Fall Rec League is primarily a coed recreational Gaelic Football league. Games will consist of two 10-minute halves (20 minutes total each game). Football teams will get 2 games per Saturday. New this year, we will also be introducing small-sided hurling matches alongside the Gaelic Football Rec League. If you’re interested in Hurling, please indicate that in the sign-up below!

The Albany Rebels are hosting our Midwest to Nationals raffle starting today, through July 20th! Our year is off to a great start, and we're looking forward to a trip to the Midwest Finals in Rochester, NY, at the end of July. There, we hope to secure a trip to the USGAA Finals in Boston, MA, in August.
